If both these methods are carried out with equal efficiency and precision, then they can help you increase your profits as well as reach out to maximum number of people.

Types of marketing advertising:

Marketing advertising is very important for the success of any product or service. There are various types of marketing advertising techniques and methods:

- Person to person: In this type of marketing advertising, people go from door to door in order to sell that particular product. This is very effective because most of the people get instantly connected with the product and also understand its features and applications in a better way. The advantage of this method is that if people get interested and are convinced properly then they immediately might buy the product, if not interested they at lest listen to all the details and this works as an advertisement of that product.

- Event sponsorship: This is another good and effective marketing advertising method. Many big companies use this method to achieve their sales target. The companies sponsor a certain event and then sell their goods at discounted price at the same event by means of stalls and outlets. As the company is the main sponsor of the event, whenever an ad is made for that event automatically the company name gets displayed or is mentioned. These ads also work as the ads of the company its brand and its products. Also when people visit such events they also visit the company stalls and this gives us the chance of marketing the product. Some people also buy these products and hence profit is made by the company.

- Free stuff: Another good way of marketing advertising is to give free stuff. The free stuff can be delivered at the door step or can be distributed with news papers or even given to people by means of lucky draws and competitions in big malls and hotels. People always love free stuff and if it is efficient enough then you may have just earned your self a loyal customer. New and upcoming business and companies use this strategy to make a name for themselves and establish their brands. Also there are some companies who offer cash back if their product does not satisfy the customer or is its performance is not up to the mark. This also a very effective and widely used marketing advertising strategy.

- Arranging local competitions: The companies can arrange fun events or local competitions like lucky draw, etc to attract customers. The companies can arrange these events at a small scale on week end in a mall or a hotel. This gets the people interested in your product and at the same time it helps you market the product as well as advertise for it.
