A vaporizer is an efficient device to smoke herbs. A vaporizer is not difficult to make. Basically a vaporizer is a device for smoking herbs. A heat source is used to heat the herb without burning, but rather by vaporizing. Vapors produced are much cooler than a cigarette and contains less tar as compared to the vapors produced on burning of it. Vaporizer can be easily prepared. Few methods to be followed are as follows. The requirements for making a vaporizer are soldering iron, some wood, and a plastic 2 liter bottle. It is for sure that some skills, tools and time are required to build a vaporizer. But it is not that difficult also. The purpose of a basic vaporizer can be easily solved by preparing it at home. The method mentioned here is for making a vaporizer of conduction type. A convection vaporizer is always better than a conduction vaporizer. But a convection vaporizer can not be prepared at home. A conduction type vaporizer also performs a decent job. Also the conduction type vaporizers are cheaper than convection type vaporizers. Also waste produced in a conduction vaporizer is much higher than in a convection vaporizer. But once a person gets used to a vaporizer and quits smoking then he can definitely go for the investment required on for a convection vaporizer.
The procedure to be followed for making a vaporizer is as follows. Firstly flat wood should be cut into a triangle with equal eight inch sides at sixty degree angles. Then wood needs to be stained and varnished. Varnishing is required so that pests do not destroy it. Then selection has to be made as to which side will be top of vaporizer. Then find the exact center of the triangle and mark it on both top and bottom. Then by using a drill make a hole of the size such that soldering handle can be set into it and rim lies on top. This particular size has to be drilled out in centre of triangular piece. Then the triangular piece should be turned over and has to be marked with 3 spots each about 1 inch from the vertex each angle. Again drilling is required of each of these. Then turn the triangular piece to the top. Next step is to pull the plastic bottom piece off of the 2 liter bottle and then cut out the middle of this piece. Then place the black piece over the hole in the center of the wooden triangle and put a two nails through it into the wood. Hot glue can be used for the purpose of filling ant cracks in bottle.
